Lane Engineering, Inc. is a business corporation providing civil engineering, architecture, environmental, and consulting services to clients in Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee. The firm was established in 1996 to assist municipal governments in infrastructure engineering and management.

Over the past 10 years, our firm has grown and our capabilities now include water leak detection, infiltration/inflow identification, preliminary studies, environmental review, regulatory permitting assistance, design, construction administration, and construction monitoring. The firm has provided full service engineering for over $50 million in infrastructure improvement projects. For the majority of this work, Lane Engineering has assisted our clients in obtaining grant and low interest loan funds from a variety of funding agencies including The Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (VDHCD), USDA-Rural Development, the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC), the Virginia Tobacco Commission, and the Virginia Department of Health.
